Following a Design & Build competition by Sunderland Council, we were awarded the contract to develop the existing Seaburn shelter site on the beautiful coast of Sunderland.
We are delighted to be able to bring this prime location to life with an open and clean-lined space, developed specifically for an exciting and innovative leisure destination and eatery experience.
The development comprises space for a restaurant, ice cream parlour, RNLI base and community amenities for those visiting the seaside.
We have worked closely with Sunderland City Council, Fitz Architects and Meldrum Construction to realise our vision for a renewed coastal community hub for the people of Sunderland and beyond. The development was the start of a move for wide scale regeneration of the Seaburn area.
The development is set for completion in Autumn 2015 and will be open as a public space from early 2016. We are excited to see our tenants moved in and operating and are proud to have been involved in creating an iconic building for the people of Sunderland.
